Per Rundberg, b. in Skelleftea, Sweden, studied at the “Yehudi Menuhin  School“ in Stoke d’ Abernon in England with Seta Tanyel.  He continued his studies at the  „ Mozarteum“ in Salzburg with Prof. Karl-Heinz Kämmerling  resulting 1995 in a diploma with honours and at the Royal Academy of Music, Stockholm with Prof. Staffan Scheja. Later studies in Paris, at the „Franz Liszt – Akademie“ Budapest, in Rome and with Murray Perahia. Rundberg frequently gives concerts all over Europe, in Asia and  in the USA. As a soloist he performed with various orchestras  including the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Opera Orchestra, Stockholm. He was often to perform at  major festivals like the Salzburg Festival, Schleswig – Holstein Festival,  Feldkirch Festival, Beethovenfest, Bonn.

His chamber music partners include Dietrich Fischer, Martin Grubinger,  Alfons Kontarsky, Benjamin Schmid and others. Together with Martin Grubinger, he was chosen by the Konzerthaus in Vienna to perform in  the "Rising Stars"- Tour 2008 which led to performances in halls like the Philharmonie, Cologne, Palais des Beaux Arts,  Brussels, Carnegie Hall, New York, etc. Per Rundberg recorded CDs and DVDs on various labels like Accent Music, KcClassics, Oehms and Hänssler Classics. His dedication to contemporary music led to many first  performances and close collaboration with some of the most prominent composers of our time.
