The flutist Mateja Kremljak completed her studies at the University of Arts in Graz under Professor Nils-Thil Krämer and her postgraduate studies in Imola, Italy at Accademia pianistica di Imola under Professor Glauco Cambursano and Professor Massimo Mercelli.  She has been playing the piccolo flute with the Symphony Orchestra of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor since 1998, however, she also works as a teacher at the private music school B.A.S.E. where she organises a summer course.

 

She performs in various chamber ensembles, flute quartet Flavte brez meja, duet Anima with the harpist Tina Žerdin, in the Kvartet Lento with a string trio, duet Erato with the guitar player Matjaž Stošič, in the flamenco ensemble Cana Flamenca, as well as jazz quartet B. A. S. E., and the project Accademia. She also performed as the piccolo flute with the Maribor Festival Orchestra.
