Born 1973 in Bratislava into a musician’s family. He began to play the violin at the age of four. At the age of 12, he was so taken by the cimbalom that, one year later, he won first place in a national cimbalom-playing competition. From 1986 he was a student at the Bratislava Conservatoire. He studied the cimbalom with Ludmila Dadáková and the viola with Marian Banda. In the course of his studies, he was also a guest player in important Slovak orchestras such as the Slovak Folk Artistic Group, the Slovak Radio Orchestra, Lúcnica, the Young Hearts Orchestra etc.

As a recent graduate of the Conservatoire, he became a soloist of the Devil’s Violin Orchestra, with which he travelled the world. Later he played as a soloist  in the Devil’s Violin Orchestra.  At the moment he is the leader of the  Gypsy Devils Orchestra, where we can listen to his unique dulcimber playing.
