AUTODIDACTIC MUSICAL THEORY - STOLEN?

The exciting main program of the festival, which will take place from 5–11 September 2014, will be accompanied by Workshops of autodidactic musical theory under the leadership of the violinist Bojan Cvetrežnik. During the Workshops the Kodály Method of approach to music education is going to be used and accordingly material is to be drawn from authentic folk music. Workshops will take place for several successive days. The target groups for these workshops are primary school children, secondary school pupils and the general public. With Workshops we wish to promote creativity and actively engage our target audience in the music scene of the city of Maribor.
